Fred and co-host Art Sorce compare notes on the major problems at ESPN as their ratings continue to sink. With hosts Rachel Nichols and Stephen Smith making racial comments, the network has come under fire, and both Fred and Art don’t believe ESPN will suspend either host. Remembering that Reds announcer Thom Brennaman lost his job because of a homosexual slur, it seems that the sports business is certainly not consistent in any shape or form.

In other areas of sports business, Fred and Art deliberate over NBA officiating, Aaron Rogers vs Brett Favre, Tom Brady’s condition, and the future of Trevor Bauer continuing to make news.

Finally, Covid is not gone as surges are occurring in real-time. Does the MLB keep full capacity as the new rule, or will baseball do the safer thing and bring back lower capacity limits? And what about the Olympics with a surge now happening in Japan? The world will have to wait and see…
