The Clippers had a surprising win despite all of the team injuries. Paul George was there when the chips were down, and with Kawhi Leonard out with serious knee issues, how the Clippers play in Game 6 will determine the outcome of Game 7. Lebron James thinks NBA players did not have enough rest in the off-season with the new condensed season, and that’s what’s causing the spate of injuries. Is it true or a coincidence?

Chris Paul played basketball and Jon Rahm played golf while they were asymptomatic with Covid, then found out they were positive after being tested regularly. Is the sports world doing all it can to ensure athletes are vaccinated, healthy, and not putting teammates and spectators at risk? Are frequent testing and the honor system enough to keep people safe?

Jimmy Kimmel, an avid college sports fan, has gotten his wish and now has a football bowl game named after him: The Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl. The game will be played at LA’s SoFi Stadium in December, featuring the Mountain West’s No. 1 selection vs the Pac-12’s No. 5 selection.

There’s a new Pac-12 commissioner – hopefully a sign of great things to come for the conference, and could this mean they’ll finally be on DirecTV so that other parts of the country can watch the games? Fred and Art are keeping their fingers crossed…
