The USA and Canada women’s soccer teams have been advocating for gender equality in sports and wearing armbands to support the inclusion of transgender athletes. What are the parameters that should be followed and the limitations that they present, as well as the ethical and psychological ramifications? Are some athletes trying to take advantage without being fully committed to complete physiological changes? Guest (and lawyer) Laura Snoke provides some legal insight into some of the issues that are being faced in the world at large concerning the transgender community. How will ensuing legal decisions then translate into the sports world, which has a more or less clearly defined gender separation? Will sweeping changes be made at all levels, from the sandlots to the pros?

Now that Super Bowl LVII is in the rearview mirror, the burning question remains: what was the best commercial? The premium advertising space is, what some consider, an integral part of the overall spectacle that is the Super Bowl, and many beloved and memorable spots have had their debut during the biggest game of the year. Which were the favorites? Did Bradley Cooper’s mom steal the show? Has Ben Affleck made a stunning career change that may or may not have JLo’s approval? Would A-Rod consider that path?
