Trevor Bauer’s suspension has been over for more than a year. Will he be picked up to play in Japan? He says he would play for the minimum salary, but will his troubles off the field outweigh his talents on the field? Do he and Blake Snell come with too much baggage and have personality issues in the locker room as well? Are there any teams in the MLB that would be willing to give them a second chance?

In the NFL, all 32 offensive coordinators are white. On the other side of the gridiron, the defensive coordinators are more racially diverse, so what could account for such a disparity between the two positions? What is behind Eric Bieniemy not being hired as a head coach despite interviewing with various teams? Does he have a reputation as a tough taskmaster, or is it possible that his coaching skills don’t come through as easily in the interview process as they do on the field? With Andy Reid singing his praises, would college football be a better landing spot for him?

Is it surprising that Steve Garvey has yet to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame? As a player for both the Dodgers and Padres, he was a popular and well-known personality and brought a lot of excitement to both Dodger and Murphy Stadiums. Does his record match up with those of the luminaries who are already there? Currently, he’s running for senator in California. Could that bring his name to the forefront for HoF voters? Would he win by a landslide if he ran in an election in his heyday? How does his omission from the Hall of Fame compare to someone like Pete Rose, who has not been inducted because of controversial behavior?
